Estimate the uses you specify

This tool totals showers and toilet flushes only. It excludes faucets, laundry, leaks, outdoor use and other household demand. Choose a saved source rating or enter an assumed or measured value; neither choice converts this calculation into a measurement of your home.

Read the difference correctly

The displayed Scenario B minus Scenario A is the difference between all selected inputs. If duration, use frequency and product ratings all change, the result is not the isolated water-saving effect of one product. Keep the use inputs equal to study a rating change; keep the rating equal to study a habit change.

Daily shower volume = GPM × minutes per shower × showers per day. Daily toilet volume = single GPF × single uses, or full GPF × full uses + reduced GPF × reduced uses. The seven-day and thirty-day estimates multiply the daily total by 7 and 30; they are fixed periods, not calendar-month forecasts.

No water price, bill reduction or installed performance is inferred. Before choosing values, read shower flow context and single/dual flush mode handling. Use the interactive controls to change one assumption at a time.
